Goings on Around here...

I have been absent from blog land again. I'm getting really bad about that. But I do have a sort of good excuse. I have been drowning in yarn the past seven days. This week I have had many orders from my shop for crocheted items and I have been using all my time to get them done. Which explains why I have not been concentrating on blogging. So that's why you should forgive me. hee hee, :)
Almost done with one order of three baby bunny suits!
And I thought I'd show you the happenings around outside. It was cloudy today and a beautiful temp of 63degrees. That's the coldest it's been in a while. All week it was in the 80s. :)
In my herb garden I have tons of orange cosmos springing up!
Lots and lots of spicy globe basil too. :)
Today I purchased more seeds to go in my herb garden. I can't wait to plant them!!
Our veggie garden is transitioning from the winter garden to the spring. These are beans! Dad bought three types green bush bean, yellow bean, and purple pole bean.
These are the rows and rows and ROWS of cucumbers. If all goes well we will have an over abundance!
Last of the brussel sprouts. I'm normally not a huge fan of these, but they were really good!
Cabbage. We picked two heads of it today!
More cabbage.
Back view of the garden.
Front view.
Our peach blossoms are blooming!! Which means peaches are not to to far behind!!! (it was very windy today. the blossoms simply would not hold still for a good picture!)
I guess that's just about wraps up what I've been doing this week. Crocheting crocheting crocheting and gardening. It's a good thing I enjoy it! :)
What have you been doing this week? How's the weather where you're at?
big hugs, xxx~Kelsey

5 {what'cha thinkin's}:

  1. We're going to be planting our garden soon! =) I can't wait. And that cabbage looks really good! We usually plant an acre of okra during the summer because we cut it and sell it. That's my summer job! =P
