Her body is a little yellow now, I'm hoping a good washing will restore her beautiful light pink color.
Doesn't Mildred have the sweetest face? So calming and beautiful.
As I'm writing this, I just asked my mom why she named this doll Mildred. Here's the short story behind it. :)
My Nana actually named her, because she had a very good friend named Mildred and my Nana said this doll looked just like her. Sooo the name stuck. :)
Do any of you have a doll or stuffed animal that's been with you since birth??

She's so cute! :) I used to have a couple dolls that looked a little similar, but the toy I wound up playing with the most, I got when I was 3. It was a beany baby cat named Prance, and I took her literally everywhere I went. XD

I have a doll that I got when I was 2, and I still know where she is. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a baby, my granny gave me a big, huge stuffed Simba doll. But my dad has a chronological fear of hoarding stuff, so he got thrown out when I was eight. I loved him to death... literally. He was all matted down when we got rid of him =D
